Say hello to the most recent additions to the Scoil Mhuire community... the little wrigglers in our new wormery!
Over the past few months a number of classes have had the opportunity to visit the wormery and examine what it essentially a little compost factory staffed by worms.
Pupils throughout the school have also been suggesting names for the worms. Our wriggly inhabitants include Péisty, George Wormington, Darth Wormy, Sir Wormsalot, Squirm, and Wormasaurus Rex. The trouble now will be learning to tell them apart!
