Gaelic games play a significant role in the life of our school. As well as implementing the formal PE Curriculum, we are fortunate to have highly dedicated members of staff who give their time voluntarily in order to work with the pupils after school.  

From Junior Infants right through to 6th Class, the pupils of Scoil Mhuire participate in activities to develop their fundamental movement skills and have the opportunity to play hurling and football. We compete in all Cumann na mBunscoil competitions and have been extremely successful over the years.   

Our school is proud of our strong link with the famous St. Vincent’s Club, and we are exceptionally proud of the fact that many of our past pupils have won All-Ireland medals.
