Last September, in order to ease their transition to Scoil Mhuire, each of our new 2nd Class pupils was assigned a 6th Class Buddy. Over these past ten months the boys from 2nd and 6th Class have read together, played yard games together, played board games together, weeded the raised beds, and engaged in countless fun activities.
As this academic year draws to a close - as our 6th Class pupils prepare to graduate and we prepare to welcome a new cohort of pupils into 2nd Class - each pair of Buddies was asked to write a letter to our incoming pupils. This Scoil Mhuire Mail was hand delivered on Monday evening, and we hope that our next group of Buddies enjoy a year like this one!
